Bob Deist
We helped Bob Deist for a few years, but then he came to us about building him a pro car. We first built it with a big ford stroker motor, but he raced it a few years and it got a blower bug. He then bought a blown hemi from Rodney Covington. We put the motor in one winter, but before he could race that year, he died unexpectedly from heart failure. This was a very sad time for the whole Amish Outlaw Team. Bob was like part of our family. We were very glad to see his mother and Rebecca at Bloomsburg this year. We miss you Bob!.
